Taking the gospel beyond our walls through community service, evangelism, and global missions
The Outreach & Missions Ministry at LWC Church is dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission by sharing God's love and the message of the gospel with our community and the world. We believe that as followers of Christ, we are called to be His hands and feet, meeting both spiritual and physical needs while proclaiming the good news of salvation.
Our ministry focuses on three key areas: local community outreach, national evangelism initiatives, and global missions support. Through compassionate service, strategic partnerships, and cross-cultural engagement, we seek to make a lasting impact for God's kingdom both near and far.
To see lives transformed by the gospel as we extend Christ's love beyond our church walls, meeting needs, building relationships, and making disciples in our community and around the world.
To mobilize and equip church members for effective outreach and missions, creating opportunities to share the gospel through words and actions while addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

The mission trip to Kenya opened my eyes to God's work around the world. I went to serve others, but I came back having received so much more than I gave.

Most local outreach opportunities don't require special training - just a willing heart! For specific roles like medical services or counseling, professional qualifications are needed. For all volunteers, we provide orientation and on-the-job training to help you serve effectively.
We typically organize 2-3 international mission trips and 4-5 domestic mission trips each year. Trips vary in duration from one week to two weeks. We announce upcoming trips several months in advance to allow for proper preparation, fundraising, and team building.
Yes! We believe in involving the whole family in missions. Many of our local outreach events are family-friendly and have specific roles for children and youth. For safety reasons, international mission trips are generally limited to those 16 and older, with parental accompaniment required for minors.
Mission trip participants are responsible for raising their own support, though the church provides resources and guidance for fundraising. We also have a missions scholarship fund to assist those with financial need. For our ongoing missionary support, funds come from the church's missions budget and designated giving.
Join us in sharing God's love through outreach and missions. Whether you want to serve locally or globally, we have opportunities for you to use your gifts and passions to impact lives for Christ.
