Our Mission
The Prayer Warriors Ministry at LWC Church is committed to establishing and maintaining a powerful prayer covering over our church, members, community, and nation. We believe in the transformative power of prayer and its essential role in spiritual growth, breakthrough, and revival.
Guided by Ephesians 6:18, we "pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests," standing in the gap for those in need and battling in the spiritual realm. Our ministry serves as the spiritual backbone of the church, ensuring that every activity, ministry, and member is covered in prayer.

How to Join
If you feel called to join the Prayer Warriors Ministry, we invite you to take the following steps:
- Attend our monthly Prayer Warriors orientation (first Sunday after service)
- Complete the Prayer Foundations course (offered quarterly)
- Submit an application form (available at the church office)
- Meet with a Prayer Ministry leader for a brief interview

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be an experienced prayer warrior to join the ministry?
No, we welcome believers at all stages of their prayer journey. We provide training and mentorship to help you grow in your prayer life. The most important qualification is a heart committed to prayer.
How are prayer requests handled and kept confidential?
All prayer requests are received by our Prayer Ministry leadership team and distributed only to our trained intercessors. We have strict confidentiality protocols in place, and our team members commit to not sharing requests outside of the prayer context without explicit permission.
Can I join the prayer chain if I can't attend in-person prayer meetings?
The prayer chain operates primarily through phone calls, text messages, and email. This allows members to pray from wherever they are when urgent requests come in, making it ideal for those with limited ability to attend in-person gatherings.
How long is the commitment to serve as a Prayer Warrior?
We ask for an initial six-month commitment, after which you can prayerfully evaluate whether to continue. Many of our members find the ministry so fulfilling that they serve for many years.
