About Our Sunday School Ministry
The Sunday School Ministry at LWC Church is the educational backbone of our congregation, dedicated to nurturing spiritual growth through systematic Bible study and discipleship. We provide age-appropriate biblical instruction that helps believers of all ages develop a strong foundation in God's Word and apply biblical principles to their daily lives.
Our Sunday School serves as the primary entry point for new members into the church community, offering a welcoming environment where people can learn, ask questions, and build relationships in smaller group settings. Through our various classes and programs, we aim to equip every member with biblical knowledge, foster spiritual maturity, and prepare disciples who can effectively share their faith with others.

New Member Integration
Welcoming New Members into the Church Family
Our Sunday School Ministry plays a crucial role in helping new members integrate into the church community. Through our New Believers Class and mentorship program, we provide a supportive environment where newcomers can learn about our church, build relationships, and grow in their faith.
Our Integration Process:
- Welcome Team: New visitors are greeted by our welcome team who introduce them to the appropriate Sunday School class.
- New Believers Class: A 12-week course covering foundational Christian beliefs and practices.
- Mentorship Program: Each new member is paired with an experienced church member for personal guidance and support.
- Ministry Placement: We help new members discover their spiritual gifts and find appropriate areas of service.

What if I've never studied the Bible before?
Our New Believers Class is specifically designed for those who are new to Bible study. The teachers are experienced in explaining concepts clearly, and there's no such thing as a "silly question." Everyone starts somewhere, and we're here to help you build a strong foundation.
Is childcare available during adult classes?
Yes! We have age-appropriate classes for children of all ages, from nursery through high school. Your children will receive quality biblical instruction while you attend your own class. All our children's workers are screened and trained to provide a safe, nurturing environment.
How can I become a Sunday School teacher?
We're always looking for dedicated individuals with a heart for teaching God's Word. The process begins with an application, followed by an interview with the Sunday School Superintendent. Approved teachers receive training and typically start as assistants before leading their own classes.
