Empowering young people to discover their identity in Christ and fulfill their God-given purpose
The Youth Ministry at LWC Church is a vibrant community of teenagers and young adults (ages 13-25) who are passionate about growing in their relationship with God and making a positive impact in their world. We provide a safe, fun, and supportive environment where young people can explore their faith, develop meaningful friendships, and discover their unique gifts and calling.
Our approach to youth ministry is holistic – we focus on spiritual growth while also addressing the real-life challenges and opportunities that young people face today. Through dynamic worship, relevant teaching, small group discussions, mentorship, and service opportunities, we equip the next generation to live out their faith with confidence and purpose.
To raise up a generation of young people who are rooted in God's Word, empowered by His Spirit, and committed to transforming their communities through Christ-centered leadership and service.
To create environments where young people can encounter God, build authentic relationships, develop their God-given potential, and discover their unique purpose in God's kingdom.

Our youth ministry serves teenagers ages 13-17 (junior and senior high school) and young adults ages 18-25. We have age- 13-17 (junior and senior high school) and young adults ages 18-25. We have age-specific programs and activities that address the unique needs and interests of each group while also providing opportunities for them to interact and learn from each other.
While formal registration isn't required to attend our weekly programs, we do encourage parents to complete a simple information form with emergency contacts and any special needs. This helps us better serve your teen and ensures we can contact you if needed.
Our regular weekly programs are free to attend. Special events like camps, conferences, and certain outings may have associated costs, but we always strive to keep these affordable. Scholarships are available for families with financial needs—we never want cost to be a barrier to participation.
Safety is a top priority. All our adult leaders undergo background checks and training. We maintain appropriate adult-to-youth ratios at all events, have clear check-in/check-out procedures for younger teens, and follow strict transportation policies for off-site activities. Parents are always welcome to observe our programs.
We encourage youth to invite their friends. Our environment is welcoming to newcomers, and we're careful not to use language or references that would make visitors feel like outsiders. Many of our current youth first came as guests of their friends.
We welcome parent involvement! You can serve as a small group leader, help with event planning, provide meals, drive for activities, or join our parent prayer team. We also host quarterly parent meetings to share updates and gather feedback. Contact our Youth Pastor to discuss how you can contribute.
We're here to help! If you have any questions about our Youth Ministry or would like more information, please don't hesitate to contact us.
